“Esat Oktrova was born in Pogradec on April 28, 1930 and died in Tirana on March 21, 2001. He received his first education in the city of Pogradec and in the high school in Korça. Then he continued the artistic high school "Jordan Misja" in Tirana. At this time, his acting career began, especially in the "Soldier's Variety" in Tirana, where the undisputed talent stood out.
Oktrova has been declared an "Honorary Citizen" of Pogradec and Shkodra. He held the scientific title "Professor" and was decorated with the title "Merited Artist".
